Characters: Russia, Ivan the Terrible (Tsar Ivan IV), Tsarevich Ivan Ivanovich
Timestamp: 1581
Warnings: Death, history, angst
Summary: Ivan the Terrible, Russia's first Tsar, was know for his temper and irrational outbursts. His oldest son was no more reasonable. Little Russia gets caught in the crossfire, so to speak.

I habitually follow in my thoughts,
Trying to guess from their number
The year which brings my death."
-Aleksandr Pushkin, 1829
[1581, Moscow]
( He stared at his own fingers, trying not to hear, trying to distance himself from the room and the body he inhabited. )

Like my new journal header? I am so, so, proud of myself for finagling the html to make the two pieces line up perfectly and not repeat and be behind the menu bit and and and- /flails
Other things to flail about: I'M GOING TO ANIME BOSTON. Anyone else going? If so, are you cosplaying, and if so, as whom? ♥ ♥ ♥
Happy Martin Luther King Jr. day! I don't have any civil rights!America art, but you should just imagine it, okay? Imagine it being awesome.

It's a snow day today, I should go sled or something. *wanders off*

What madness is this? Mica writes things? Why yes, she does. Run while you still can.
Titles: assorted FrUK drabbles (Fiction, Politeness, and Conversation in the Dark)
Pairing: FrUK (duh.)
Warnings: spoilers for les mis, implied sexy tiems, blood, angst (in a sort of satirical way, I fail at real angst), human names, violence mentioned/implied.
Summary: England (still) loves theatre (sensing a theme yet?), Francis is a fashion snob and England is 'polite', and what goes through England's head after they fuck.
Notes: deanon for the first one, the other two were written from prompts in creative writing class, which became their titles, because I am uncreative like that. This pairing is what my mind goes to when "doodling" in words, so I have a lot of these little disconnected scenes. Also, the last one may be sort of AU? Be warned?
Enjoy, or something like that.

El noche pasado, yo fui a la cama pensando en espñol, por lo tanto, este mañana, cuando me desperté, estuve pensando en español tambien (y creo que mi sueño era en español, pero yo no lo acuerdo). Y yo se que este post tiene mucho mucho mucho errores gramatical, pero no me importe. Yo solamente necesito hablar o escribir en español A ALGUIEN ahora, o estaría pensar como este todo el día, y no podaría comprender mis clases (en ingles). ;___;
…now that I’ve proven that I write like a third-grader in spanish when it's 6 am, have some art! …arte… shit.
...in more real life news, it's FUCKING FREEZING up here. I'm wearing a down jacket indoors, and contemplating investing in snowshoes to get across campus. ;_;

Speaking of fem!FrUK, do you guys remember the fem!FrUK FST cover I posted a while ago? Well England got ahold of it, andshe was kinda drunk and scribbled all over it and then tried to burn it. France saved it though, because she thought it was cute, and put it in her his photo album. See?

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders' fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
-Lt.-Col. John McCrae (1872 - 1918)
Let us not forget.Actual related art later, perhaps? I feel guilty for having not gotten any ready for today.
(and yes, I know it's actually the 9th, but I'm Alfredian, and we celebrate veteran's day on the 11th)
And now, sketches!

Title: More Native To The Heart
Author/Artist:
autumnestuary (me!)
Character(s)/Pairing(s): England/Queen Elizabeth/Shakespeare. No, I'm not kidding.
Warnings: Bent history, overuse of Hamlet, liberties taken with historical figures, slight language!kink, and fail Elizabethan English.
Summary: The story of where England got his love of theatre, and a man who loved his language.
Notes: de-anoning from the kink_meme, here. Don't mind me...
( Peace! Break thee off! Look, where it comes again! )
There will be art to go with this fic presently. Also, please be gentle- I wrote this all in one day, and it's fairly unedited. And it's only my second fic.
